Strathinnes Forestry has a long history of providing forestry services in British Columbia. In the early 1980's a group of Scottish Foresters and Engineers started consulting in Victoria and branched out to five different locations throughout the province. The original group have since retired and many things have changed over the years but the legacy and committment to quality, efficiency and production have remained. Michael Drinkwater and Jeff Reyden took over Strathinnes at the Nelson location in January 2004. With local knowledge and deep roots we feel connected to and responsible for the land on which we work. We take great pride in giving our best to excel and surpass all of our clients' needs. Our current team consists of 12 highly skilled RPFs and RFTs and is the best team we've ever had!

Michael grew up in the Kootenays and was strongly influenced by nature and adventure from a young age. Roaming the woods and constantly learning has been a lifelong journey; sharing it with other people is the best part. Michael brings leadership and commitment to the team.

Jeff was born and raised in the Kootenays and has adventure, capability, dependiblity and care built into his veins. He is both a pragmatic and charismatic leader. Jeff brings seasoned leadership, wisdom and commitment to the team
